It is believed that the history of Pidurangala Vihara goes back beyond to the first and second century. From those days Pidurangala was used as a Buddhist monastery and but became a prominent place during the reign of King Kashyapa. It is situated at beside of sigiriya. Now a days lot of tourists & locals are coming to visit it. It is a one of amazing view i have ever visited.....
